WELLE Environmental Group Co., Ltd. (“WELLE” or the “Company”) announced that, a consortium consists of its wholly-owned subsidiary Jiangsu WELLE Environmental Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as "Jiangsu WELLE"), Hainan Baodao Construction Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Environmental Sanitation Engineering Design Institute Co., Ltd has won the expansion EPC Project of Yanchunling Landfill Leachate Treatment Plant Phase II which is located in Haikou, Hainan Province with a capacity of 1,200 m3/day. Total value of this contact is about 177,329,313.80 RMB.
This plant will be equipped with treatment technologies of homogenization tank + external MBR (two-stage nitrification and denitrification) + membrane treatment system (nanofiltration + reverse osmosis) to process the leachate in compliance with environmental standards in force. It will contribute to the city of Haikou’s efforts to minimize the negative impact of leachate on the surrounding environment and downstream water plants.
The project adopts the design concept of "de-industrialization and garden-style". When it is launched, the plant will become a leachate treatment plant integrating environmental protection, science popularization, tourism, sightseeing and garden, which is coordinated with the development and construction planning of the town where the project is located. It will achieve a perfect integration of human and ecological, production and economy.
Jiangsu WELLE will perform services including the procurement and installation of equipment with a value of 130,160,000 RMB. With its longstanding experience of leachate treatment project, the company is well-positioned to offer the robust equipment with latest technical advancements to ensuring stable and efficient operation of this plant. Jiangsu WELLE also mentioned this plant is the third project contracted by WELLE in Haikou which shows the trust and satisfaction of Haikou municipal government in the company's technology and services.
